Business Pro savings pot
Anyone who has a Business Pro account can create and access a savings pot.
Savings pots are a separate place to store money in an interest-bearing sub account.
The interest rate on money held in a savings pot is specified at the time of creating your savings pot and can be seen anytime by logging into your account.

- You can create a savings pot in-app or in Online Banking. Log in to your account and click on ‘create a savings pot’. 
- All of your accounts, including savings pot, will be protected up to £85,000 in total by the FSCS (Financial Services Compensation Scheme). 
- Go to your savings pot and top up from your main account. 
- No. Your savings pot is a separate place to store money. Any payments still need to be made from your main account. - You will need to make sure you have enough money in your main account to make the payment. 
- No. You can manually transfer money from your savings pot into your business current account instantly and then make a payment at a time that suits you. 
- Yes. Your savings pot is an interest-bearing sub account. The interest rate is specified at the time of creating your savings pot and can be seen anytime by logging into your account. 
- Based on the specified interest rate, we calculate your interest daily on your balance at the end of each day. 
- All the interest accrued on your savings pot for the month is paid on the 1st of the following month. 
- There is no minimum amount to be held in your account, though we require a minimum of £1 to create a savings pot. The standard maximum limit is £10,000. There are sometimes promotional offers for new customers. If you are unsure of your limit please check your app. 
- If a transaction shows as pending in your savings pot, this may be due to a delay in processing the request. In the unlikely event this happens, we’ll investigate and send you a push notification in-app or SMS once it’s fixed, depending on your notification settings. 
- You can only create one savings pot. If you want to open a new savings pot, you can close your current savings pot and reopen a new one at any time. 
- Go to your savings pot, click on ‘Manage’ and then ‘Close’. Your balance will need to be at £0.00 for you to close your pot. You will lose any unpaid interest if you close your savings pot before it is paid.
